Repfest New Orleans! Power in Numbers!

Hello again!

I wanted to post while all the excitement of the Repfest 2019 is fresh in my mind. Power in numbers was the theme and we all gathered in New Orleans this year. Our hotel was within walking distance to our conference and lucky for us we knew right where to head as soon as we stepped out of the hotel!

We got there a day early. I like to have a day to attempt to get my time turned around. We went walking that evening and saw the Steamboat Natchez. We returned and took the tour the next day. It was really fun. If you ever get a chance to go on the tour you should! It’s a two hour boat trip along the Mississippi River, with a wonderful jazz band playing while you enjoy your lunch.

Besides having informative and fun general sessions and classes, they put on a couple of parties for us! I just love that Avon plans these events. Beauty Bash on the Bayou was our first party with drinks, food and fireworks!

The night after the Beauty Bash on the Bayou was our Pink Out on Bourbon Street. All reps were wearing pink that evening and we took over the street! I can’t take credit for this pic but that’s pretty much what we all looked like!

I know this all sounds like fun and games and it is! But we did manage to get ourselves to some sessions and as always, my favorite event is the Avon Product Experience so you can see all the new products coming soon for Christmas.! I could really plaster the page here, but then you all would know what I’m getting you for Christmas!

I thought the most exciting news is Avon’s new partnership with Chi hair care products. I can’t wait to offer these products to my customers! We had some samples in our Swag Bag to take home and try. I know they’re professional grade and that people will love them!

I am happy to see a new spa line of bath and body products that everyone will love because they’re gentle on the skin and smell delicious. Also added to the new line up is some skincare and makeup products from The Face Shop! I got to sample what we’ll be offering and I am very excited!

I connect with women I’ve never met before, and also catch up with some familiar faces! It’s like a reunion every year.

We come from different parts of the country, we all have different background and stories. Avon brings us together and I always am amazed at how much we have in common! Much more than you’d think. Next convention will be in San Antonio and I’m already registered to go. So goodbye to the people of New Orleans. I was greeted with a smile wherever I went.
